To tell the truth, the attack was unlawful.

Not morally wrong. But unlawful. Sometimes international law and moral right coincide. But not really all that often.

Obviously AI is making the implication that the attack was morally wrong. That's PETA level crazy.

I can understand why breaking into someone's house and killing them without the chance to surrender could be considered morally wrong. Even if that person was a bad bad man.

International law is only as good/respectable/worthwhile as international government. Which is to say not much.
