Then when you get the coffee, there is a door on the "computer-box" that slides out a stellar cup holder!

Its a good thing this thread is in NAT and not Software&Tech.

P.S. - Is that Jack Black on the front page?

Yes. It annoys people who don't want the "helpful" junk Microsoft insists on doing for to us.

you don't right click ever? if you don't like what's in the menu that pops up, why not change it?

I sometimes right click. But why would I need another key that duplicates what right click does?
OK, I admit it. I'm a bit clumsy. Sometimes I hit that "extra" key when I really wanted to use ALT.
That's what I find annoying.
Why does MS insist on doing things inconsistently?

BTW, what's this "change it" business? Most of MS helpful stuff doesn't let you say, no I don't want it to do that automatically. (Don't even get me started on the file menu behavior.)

I didn't mean change it, as in "prevent it from appearing," I meant change it to include more useful things to you. I rarely use the mouse in excel, so having something that quickly brings up a menu of my most common activities is nice... sometimes nicer than shortcut keys that I always forget.

I did something similar to this: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/rightclick.htm, modified for my personal use, of course.

Also, if you really *NEVER* actually use the key, you can disable it, so it doesn't do anything when you press it...
