Default Exams in ASM MLC Manual (4th edition)

I am practicing with the exams in ASM manual (4th edition), and I want to know whether the true exam is more difficult than the practice exams in the manual.

I heard that the Spring 2007 was tough, but I want to know, on average, the comparison between actual exams and practice exams, in terms of difficulty.

And, I found some problems in the practice exams which use distributions like Pareto and lognormal. Are we expected to memorize them?

Thank you.

No, these were leftovers from previous editions, and I indicate in the manual that you should feel free to use the table I provided to solve them.

I replaced these questions in the 5th edition.
