Attendance at this FAC will be a new record. More than 200 new FSAs!!! Giving out the certificates may take a couple of hours (especially as I like to chat with everybody). I hope you all enjoy this experience as much as I do!

When will the schedule of FACs for next year be posted on the website?

Probably not for a little while. Looks like first one will be in March.

Not for a little while . Don't you know how many near ASA's are OC planners and need to count backwards the exact number of weeks from FAQ registration to DMAC grading to DMAC completion to DMAC starting to FSA module grading or not grading to FSA module completion to FSA module starting????

Oh, I guess that's just me.

The sooner you get the piece of paper, the sooner you are solely responcible and signing for work. Finish the exams, but relax after that

Of course, we still need cooperation from the airlines--which haven't been good to me so far this year.

Yeah, I'm worried about that too. So I plan to arrive at 10:00 AM Wednesday, hopefully giving me enough time to drive from wherever I may get stranded. (I've flown from St. Louis to Dallas once before, and it was the absolute worst trip of my life.)

I'm worried about the flight too. I'm traveling with a friend who's also getting his FSA. There are direct flights, which helps, but because of this he wanted to take the last flight of the day on Wednesday! Ha! I had none of that.

I finally negotiated him down to taking the 3rd to last flight of the day, which gets in at 3. The last flight would have got us in around 9! Too scary for me.

This is a very actuarial discussion to be having before the FAC, perhaps a FAC insurance product could be marketed which would pay the interim salary gap for people who missed flights getting to the FAC they wanted to get to
