Time for a fun and non-scientific survey. Well, fun for me at least.
What's your birth order, and how do you fit into your immediate family dynamic? I'll go first. I am the youngest of three. This means I watched the oldest do everything right, the second be the rebel, and then I knew what I could get away with. |

Older of two sons. I was the sane one, he was the rebel. Keeping him somewhat in line is a full-time job (at least it used to be).
I think he has finally settled down after 30 years. (crossing fingers) |

Middle of 3, older bro, younger sister.
Brother was the oldest, so he "knew better" Sister was the cute one, so she could get away with most anything. Me, got blamed for everything. It's amazing I'm not in one of those lovely jackets that ties in back. Mom claims I'm the "creme filling in the oreo cookie"...whatever! My family role: I'm 3000 miles away. Mom thinks it's to get as far away from her as possible. I haven't told her any different theory. |

I'm the 3rd of 3 boys, the "spoiled baby who could do anything and get away with it" according to my brothers. I think their claim is unfounded because they probably would have never *tried* to do anything bad.
Brothers include a CFA and an accountant. Needless to say, as an FCAS, I'm the wild one ! Oh and I live far away from the rest of the family, making me a "crazy ungrateful lunatic" for my accountant brother who lives 1 mile away from my parents' home. The eldest one (CFA) probably thinks it's cool to do what I'm doing while I have no kids but really misses having me to babysit his 2 brats |
