I've already got a bet on Nebraska, so...

Anyone willing to take the Iowa side on Texas Tech vs Iowa in the Alamo bowl? I'm sure there's at least one Iowa fan out there somewhere.

If the 3rd best team in the Big12 can play for the NC, imagine how good the 6th best team must be?

I'm sure someone will pull the trigger.
Get a deposit on the winnings up front, though.

Real dead period in college football right now until the minor bowls are over. Don't want to risk over-hyping things.

Colorado is in the news and will definitely lose their bowl game to the Ducks. Go Gang Green, The Quack Attack, The Other Blackshirts. (I don't know why they would copy Neb on that one)

The Buffalos finally beat Neb and are now trying to out do them on the police blotter. Too big of a distraction this close to the big game. Miami always has the potential to self destruct but I think they can stay focused for 3 more weeks.

I'm sure the whole nation is eagerly waiting to see if North Texas can finish the season with a .500 record.

Actually, with respect to Colorado, the team has always been the best when they were in the news. Right around the time they won the NC there was an SI cover story on them about how much trouble the players were getting in to. The team started getting bad when they started recruiting the type of player that didn't get into trouble.

And I don't think the Oregon defense can stop them, although I'm not sure their defense will stop the Ducks either. I predict it will be similar to the last time they played in the Aloha Bowl in 1998 Colorado 51 - Oregon 43.

I'm done badgering the Big XII, now for the SEC. Michigan will beat Tenn. in the Fla. Citrus Bowl. (or at least cover the spread)

These two programs are going in opposite directions right now. Big Blue has Big Mo and the Vols have got the Bayou Bengal Blues from LSU, brought to you by Dr. Pepper.

An excellent matchup, I'm going to try to watch every bowl game this year. That is, those scheduled from 12/29 on. Picture in a picture is now a necessity so I have it on both TVs. Washing it all down with Michelob Light, my official holiday beer and it goes with everything, even egg nog.

Nobody's predictions seem to be doing too well.

Was Iowa the only Big 10 team to win a bowl? Somebody should have taken me up on my wager.

Michigan St. beat Fresno St. saving the big 10 from further embarrassment.
