Anyone see the series premiere of Big Bang tonight? In case you're wondering, it's on CBS Mondays at 8:30/7:30 PM. Looks like a hilarious show for the math and science inclined. What were your thoughts?

I saw a preview. It looked like a one-joke idea that could barely sustain itself through a single episode. No?
(Full disclosure: I think 2.5 Men is the most unwatchably unfunny alleged comedy that has ever existed.)

I agree, it does look like that, and it may be that it will not go anywhere. But I liked the pilot.
P.S. - I also like 2.5 Men

My wife saw the part about the gal talking about her astrological sign and insisted that we record it...we shall see.

Wow, are you guys serious? I just finished watching this turd and came on here looking for the "this show sucks" thread. I don't mind being stereotyped as long as it's funny, but this one got off to a bad start with "high IQ sperm bank" and got worse from there. Should be cancelled by Christmas.

The taller guy, "Sheldon", reminded me a bit of Niles on Frasier--especially the last line: "I don't know about your chances versus the world at large, but compared to the population of this car, you're a veritible mac daddy."
Geeks trying to use hooded vernacular. Gets me almost as much as the lolcatz. I laughed harder than I thought I would at it. Maybe because the premier of How I Met Your Mother was such a let down.

I think you got it. Congratulations on not needing to actually watch the episode (like me) to figure that one out.

So what do you think is funny? Or were you late the day God was handing out senses of humor?
