Hate to say this but it was fashionable when I was in first year [of course this was largely limited to ratted out blue jeans]. Hate to say it but that was before most posters on this board were born.

Fair enough, but I don't remember there always being stuff that was already torn when you bought it.

"Pre-distressed" may be a more precise description.

That is my understanding, although there are instances where the recipient is also gay. Being the non-giver is "necessary but not sufficient" to not be gay.
