Default Working Experience Requirement for ASA/FSA

Hello,

Can anybody give me an update on the working experience requirements to obtain the ASA/FSA designations? Does SOA require certain years of working experience to grant the ASA/FSA designations?

Thanks,

CAPM

0 years required to be credentialed, but to certify actuarial statements of opinion you need your MAAA which requires 3 years of fulltime experience (unless you get your FSA in under 3 years, then you are grandfathered in as a member of the AAA).
