Good, I don't think I was certified for a skill level 5.

Meh. The complement of skill level is luck-/shove-fest. For a comparison to A-City or Vegas "fast" or "one-day" tournaments:

I wouldn't waste the money on this tournament, if I were me. On the up side, it wouldn't be too much time wasted, so, to each his own.

And those previous remarks were for the first tournament, with the big stack.
The second tournament, with the smaller stack, has 30-minute blinds, so the skill level for that one is 5.

I see that the Binion's 2am is a skill level of 2. I cashed that one a few months ago, so I must play level 2 MTT's well.

I think that tourney's structure was a'ight.

I probably won 't be playing the tourneys for the most part anyway. They start at 12pm. I figure I'll either be sleeping or at the pool/beach at that time.

You are likely better than that. Downside is that even better players play in the higher skill tourneys. They cost more (==> more prize money for the top placers), they take longer, and those players can wait for good hands and/or play more junk hands and get paid off.

I'm not too sure. Have you ever watched this guy play the $10 rebuy on Stars?
