Yup. As usual, it will be up to the dems to clean up the mess(es) created by the repubs.

It really hasn't ever been good for Bush's entire term - people have just been cashing out their equity to buy stuff, a source of of money that has just recently dried up.

Odd how people actually had money in the late 90s (without cashing out their home equity) to invest in things like technology that created the dot-com boom.
