Default My Gf needs your help.

My Gf needs your help.

So, my gf is taking this graduate level class on, y’know, race relations in society and stuff. Since she had to be out of town for work last week, she had to miss a couple of classes. As make up, she has to write a paper on the movie “White Man’s Burdon” with John Travolta. (yeah yeah I know) Well, I picked her up from the airport last night at about 9 and we went home and started watching it. Terrible movie. She took some notes but we hated the movie, she we stopped watching it a little past the halfway point. We figured we’d just look up the plot summary on the internet. Well, the internet has been no help so far and we already sent the movie back (Netflix)

So, somebody who has seen this movie. How does it end? We stopped watching at about the time when he drops his son off after buying him his birthday present.

Thank you.

Well, even though most movie information sites are blocked at work, just from the google listings I found out that John Travolta's character dies. At least two blocked sites claimed to have synopses of the plot.

If your gf really wants to sleaze out of doing the work that much, it doesn't seem as if it would be that hard to find out what happens.

Better to watch it though. Does the library have a tape or DVD of it?

It doesn't matter what happens in the movie. What matters is the professor. As long as gf writes what professor already thinks, an A+ is assured.

JMO is absolutely correct. She should just write that white protestant straight males suck. Over and over again.

Yes. A trip to the library or teh blockbuster seems likely tonight. Unless the AO can come though. Come on there has got to be somebody here whose favorite movie is the above.

Wait I think I have seen this movie. Weird stuff keeps on happening. He eventually realizes that he’s actually living in a giant controlled environment, and everybody he knows are just actors. Its actually just a televised science experiment for the real, white controlled world.

The AO has already come through. JMO's comment is way more useful than anything your gf would learn from actually watching the movie or knowing what happens in the movie.

ETA - we already know one thing the professor thinks ... he/she thinks this is a good movie, so ix-nay with the "terrible movie" line of thought.

You should have turned the movie into a drinking game.
