I will post and say that I graduated from here. Not much else to say. The school turned down the Math department's application to add an Act. Science major when they heard there would only be 4 students in the program the first year. So whenever I talk about my degree I have to say B.S. in Math with an "Actuarial Science emphasis."

This, in my opinion, works to our advantage. Actuarial employers don't care whether your degree is in math or Actuarial Science as long as you got your VEEs and you can pass exams. On the other hand, if I should ever apply to a non-actuarial job, I don't have to go through the trouble of explaining what an "Actuarial Science major" is; instead, I get to say my major is math, and everyone knows and respects a major in math.
