$79.95 to report $525 of 1099 income.

I think I got ripped off.

Every year this is my intention, every year I end up using turbotax. Took me about 3 hours last night; I'm sure I could have invested that extra hour and done it for free.

TaxCut is freaking pissing me off. When they do the state return and post various types of income over to the state return over, it then tells me to fill in the portion of it that is exempt from NJ taxes.
How the %$# do I know what's exempt from NJ taxes? I'm paying you to tell me!!! Don't charge me for a state return if you don't know the rules.
