Default Near FSA seeking help on new jobs

I am almost an FSA in the Finance/ERM track and also taking CFA exams (passed L1 last Dec). The problem is that I did my exams really fast, and my current job has nothing to do with investment or risk management (I have more or less a traditional actuarial position). Is it still possible for me to get a job in the ALM, risk management, cashflow testing area? When I checked the job postings on DW Simpson's website, there are a few positions where I meet the description except the number of years in xxxx part. Is it "too late" for me to switch?

Generally new FSA's are gold in the job market. They also are viewed as very malleable (figuratively, not literally) so would think you'd have good chance at anything other than senior type positions that truly do require a lot of experience.
