Default author references on exam

will references to the title of the paper and it's author be made on the exam?
For example, if a question asked to list the desirable characteristics of an exposure base, should I list the ones that McClenahan gives or the ones that Bouska gives or the ones that are in the CAS statements of principles or all of the above? Much appreciated.

For the example that you give, I would say no. We should know the desirable characteristics of a exposure base no matter which author's paper we decide to use (or multiple ones). They could ask what the CAS paper specifically mentions, but that's it.

In general on the exam, yes they can reference certain authors and the method specifically mentioned in their paper.

Note the parenthetical remark in item 2 on the first page:

"(Exam 5 still assigns specific articles to question writers due to the nature of the syllabus readings.)"
