Just curious if anyone else out there was studying today. I'll be studying until about 5pm CDT -- out for a study day, like most Fridays. I'm just finishing up Ch. 13 in the ASM manual before starting into the "theory stuff" (or so I have heard....)
What are you studying today? ![]() |

Is today special because it is a leap day?

Outside study days on Fridays? I applaud your discipline.

Doing it this way feels like a treat before the weekend, because I avoid my drive (a total of 1.5 extra hours each day) and so I can either sleep in or be home earlier, and then because I work extra during the week I really only have to do 6 hours of studying, so the discipline allows me to start my weekend much earlier than I normally would have, or sleep in, or get a few extra study hours if I do all 8 or more without feeling like I carved that time out of my family's schedule.
And if the weather is bad during the week, I just change the day to earlier and avoid the icky driving. I love it set up this way! Doing 2 hours a day just isn't my style - it seems to take me that long to get into a groove, and then I have to quit. I like large chunks of time! (Maybe I'm just crazy....) Back to the books/videos; this Brownian Motion stuff is a hoot! Very interesting. Then again, I've always liked the theory of stuff, so this is right up my alley (and probably makes it even more likely that I'm a bit crazy...) |
