Good question. I thought the same thing both when I took the test and reviewed the model solution.

yea thats a really strange answer...i wouldve talked about the characteristic of MEP and funding issues..this would impact the member's liability. wouldnt that have given me the marks??

So I take it no one submitted this as a defective question?

When I did the question, I regurgitated the lists from the Edge study manual, but then went on to what talk a bit about the impact on employees and the MEPP - I gave myself a 4 as I only hit about 50% of their points. However, I had a bit of an advantage here as I've worked on MEPPs before...I can't see anyone without practical experience scoring more than a 3 on this question.

I agree that the study material we have to work with does not help us to answer this question.

I took 8RC back in 2006 and there were a couple of lists in the study material (then) that I recognize in this solution - somehow they managed to wormed their way back into our lives.

So I think that it is highly likely that the people that passed this question, had practical/work experience with MEPPs.
