Default CBT question? does SOA hand out papers to work on?

Hi it's my first SOA test and I was wondering if SOA hands out some paper so that students can work out some calculations on it.

Also are questions on the computer screen or seperate sheet of paper?
also do they give you the score right after the exam? say xx/30? (excluding the pilot questions)

I'm in the same situation you're in. All questions are on the computer screen and we supposedly get a blank notebook & 2 pencils. We must wait approximately 2 months before getting any results: a mark ranging from 0 to 10 where 6 is a pass.

You get a 16 page booklet (8 front and back). The questions are on the screen, and no, they do not tell you what your score is. Welcome to the world of being an Student Actuary. At least there is no PAK to torment you for then next 8 weeks like it has done to me in the past.

There is no paper. You have to do everything in your head.

Just kidding. All questions are on the monitor only. You select your answer on screen. You may also "mark" a question that you want to return to later, whether you have answered it or not. When the time is up, whatever questions are answered are what count. "Marking" makes no difference.

You are given a booklet of blank scratch paper (like a blue book in college). I think it's 16 pages front/back for a total of 32 sides. My testing center gave me 2 booklets, but some only let you have one. In any case, you should have plenty of room to work.
