So, what's the game part of this? Do we get to guess who submitted each song?

And would it be more fun if songs weren't identified? The polls could use the first line of lyrics instead of song names.

In theory, you could go 5 rounds with this. So if you have 1 OUTSTANDING song and 4 good ones, should you play your outstanding one in the first week, or save it for last? Maybe someone else will try that band and then you don't get to use it at all... Or maybe people don't like your other songs and you are out in week #1...

I have my methods... but if I absolutely can't find it, my last resort will be to try to arrange to get an mp3 of it from you (i.e. whoever chose the song).

Just the Billboard 200 (or the "Pop Albums" chart for stuff prior to 1984). If they made any other chart, that's okay.

I was thinking "having good enough taste in music to win the whole thing" plus the strategy questions that otley mentioned. But, guessing who submitted each song could be a side game of sorts, too. Will think about that.
