They said 39 of the to 40 men in Tennis came to play at Olympics this year. (no Nadal) Is that usual? I don't remember Olympic tennis ever being as good as it has been this year.
Nadal would have been there, but was sitting out due to injury. at least I'm 99.9% sure on that.

Blame her parents.

Knee problems. That's his story.

I don't recall that every top player played in prior years. But I could be wrong. It could just be that we didn't have 50 channels showing all of the Olympics in prior years, including one dedicated to showing live tennis, so we only saw select final matches.

hey that's her choice. don't they make insurance policies for that?

Who cares? It's obviously her choice, not yours. Not everyone makes every decision of their life based on the love of money and how to obtain as much of it as possible.

The good news: USA 156; Nigeria 73. The bad news: Nigeria obtained the bank accounts for the starting lineup.

I know this is a bit late but I noticed May-Treanor/Walsh-Jennings dropped their first set ever in Olympic Beach Vollyball the other night. It was also the first time the ditched the bikini bottoms for long "yoga" pants. Coincidence? I thnk not.

Beach volleyball just isn't the same this year. Rio in four years should be much better...
