THis is the kool aid I was talking about...the idea that this thing must be passed immediately.

I was actually somewhat impressed with the senators yesterday...they're pushing back. Senator from both sides, I might add.

It seems as if things are going to happen fast one way or the other. If the choice is to let the chips fall where they may - and I can see merit in that - then that should be a deliberate choice, not something that happens by default because Congress didn't get their act together quickly enough.
