Christine Gregoire were the Democratic candidate for vice president and she claimed that, because Washington borders Canada and sends trade missions to Japan and China and Russia, she is, therefore, experienced in foreign policy? And what if Gregoire also claimed to be a seasoned commander-in-chief because she is titular head of the Washington National Guard? We all know how Republicans would react: they would roar with mocking laughter. And they would be absolutely right to mock such idiotic pretense.

I’m afraid that I did not see anything wrong with her answers to leading questions she was asked by a leftist leaning third class (in ratings) Couric. Couric was fed her questions by producers. Palin answered from her clear view. I want honest and intelligent Sarah Palin for VP, not Katie Couric or any other vapid paid performer like her.

Nothing wrong with her answers, seriously? NOTHING? I will grant that her answers may have been "honest," because I would hate to think that she can't even make shit up coherently.

Some questions were indeed of the leaning and "gotcha" flavor, but somebody in Palin's position should have had the wherewithal to know how to strike back.
