Default Atlanta Journal Constitution calls Palin a joke

So does the Seattle-Post Intelligencer, sort of.

How would Republicans be reacting if Gov. Christine Gregoire were the Democratic candidate for vice president and she claimed that, because Washington borders Canada and sends trade missions to Japan and China and Russia, she is, therefore, experienced in foreign policy? And what if Gregoire also claimed to be a seasoned commander-in-chief because she is titular head of the Washington National Guard? We all know how Republicans would react: they would roar with mocking laughter. And they would be absolutely right to mock such idiotic pretense.

She has awesome hair. And these Alaska girls, it seems, sure do like sex. She's got 5 kids, a grandchild on the way(so the young ones put out too), her sister married this total douchebag...seems like Alaska chicks are a good time.

Jer-ry!
Jer-ry!
Jer-ry!

Anyway, footage has emerged of Palin playing the flute in the 1984 Miss Alaska competition. I will see if I can get it on here.

And the Seattle Post-Intelliwhatever would still endorse her.

I am loving this quote frmo the comments...
Quote:
I’m afraid that I did not see anything wrong with her answers to leading questions she was asked by a leftist leaning third class (in ratings) Couric. Couric was fed her questions by producers. Palin answered from her clear view. I want honest and intelligent Sarah Palin for VP, not Katie Couric or any other vapid paid performer like her.
Nothing wrong with her answers, seriously? NOTHING? I will grant that her answers may have been "honest," because I would hate to think that she can't even make shit up coherently.

They would be the ones claiming her foreign policy experience, so I'm not buying their argument. They're just a bunch of editorial department babies.

Klee Irwin says they're full of poop - at least this diameter or larger:

Some questions were indeed of the leaning and "gotcha" flavor, but somebody in Palin's position should have had the wherewithal to know how to strike back.

There has grown up in the minds of certain groups in this country the notion that because a man or corporation has made a profit out of the public for a number of years, the government and the courts are charged with the duty of guaranteeing such profit in the future, even in the face of changing circumstances and contrary to public interest. This strange doctrine is not supported by statute or common law. Neither individuals nor corporations have any right to come into court and ask that the clock of history be stopped, or turned back. - Life-Line, Robert A. Heinlein, 1939
