Maybe if you stopped harping on Obama's Muslim heritage for 10 seconds and read a real news account you'd know that yes, this actually happened and has been reported many times.

"A couple people" being the entire security detail plus the 20 or so additional people they interviewed?

Look, giving the reporter the benefit of the doubt, someone around him may have said it, but it seems unlikely that anybody of signficance, let alone Sarah Palin, heard it or had a chance to respond to it.
