I think they took all last week as a holiday...

Which begs the question, why have a "grading seminar" (if that's what happened with the group of submissions last week) to catch up if you're just going to stop grading for a while and fall back to where you were in the first place?

This is so depressing. I am coming up on 7 weeks and was really hoping they were going to be caught up. Between this and my VEE final grade being held up 2 weeks...I am turning into a crazy person.

Submitted 3/15 and hoping for a result before my May MLC sitting.

Does anyone have an idea of the historical passing percentages for first time submissions?

I don't know that the SoA has ever released anything. This is the poll I could find with the most votes (61). As of this post, over 75% passed on the first time. Note that this would have been an old FA version so it may have changed.

Thanks...75% sounds promising.

What if I said that 25% failed? As you can see above, I emailed early this week and they said they were currently on 1/17 submissions, so I have no idea what is actually going on.

That's interesting. On the SOA website they state the IA passrate will be 77.2% which was the passrate for the prior Multiple Choice exam. They don't say anything about the FA (as you stated). I wonder if that poll is inflated though. My guess is people aren't as willing to claim on the board that they failed.

25% failed!...that sounds much worse. But knowing that only 1 out of 4 don't pass eases my mind.

It is likely inflated. Polls and PAK responses on this site usually give a higher pass rate. Maybe I shouldn't have linked the poll in the first place.
