I am well aware that the case is over 80 years old, and that in the current climate it might be overturned.
The point is that a citizen of the U.S. was convicted for speaking his politics in a time of war and nationalism. We are in a time of war and nationalism right now. I wouldn't bet my life on the Supreme Court or any other court at this time.
