Default Mudhens masquerading as a MLB franchise

Try to edit one thing and your poll blows up

The Toledo Mudhens have disguised themselves as the Detroit Kittycats this season, compiling a 37-106 record to date. They must win 5 of their last 19 games to avoid besting the Amazing Mets '62 record of 120 losses (who apparently only played 160 games that year.)

Remaining on the schedule, and their record vs.

2 NYY (1-3)
3 Tor (2-4)
7 Minn (1-11)
7 KC (2-10)

Good thing the offseason for hockey isn't any longer....

I have it on good authority that if they do get the record, the commissioner is going to require the record books to show an asterisk by their name with a footnote that says *162 game season.

Of course they can avoid losing 120 games. Anything is possible.

My keen actuarial mind and rigorous calculations show that they will end the year with 120.0839161 losses, based on continuing their current W/L record for the rest of the games.

I did it in Excel, so the number must be right.
