Default Exam Raise for Preliminary Pass?

Anyone getting a raise for a preliminary pass? We have to wait for the pass list and that seems like a long time given that passers have documentation.

my companies have always required the official pass notice. but the raise was always planned to the quarter after the exam was given. so a may exam passed would lead to a 7/1 raise (they would retro apply the raise).

official passes can be confirmed with the society by the company. that piece of paper printed by a guy at prometric-we ain't buyin that! even if we know it is coming.

Sounds like you already have a job.

WOW, how did you do that with one exam passed? or you have other exam passed?

Just wondering, about how much would a raise for another prelim. exam be if you're already workin' for a company?

When my friends/family noticed me studying constantly the week before the exam, i just told them I didn't really have anything to lose. If i fail i keep going to university and get FM another time. If i pass, i dont really get anything immediatly, except maybe an increase in my present value of future earnings since i would get a higher starting salary.

Anyway to calculate that present value increase so i know how much passing today made me?

This stuff really ate my soul....

I'm already working for a company and will get a raise with my official passing notification.

I guess I was pretty lucky to be hired with only one exam?

I will get my raise ~1 month AFTER the official pass...with no retro-pay! There goes 1/4 of my $1700 raise, with intrest and inflation, blah blah...I'm just happy I passed!!!

Default Preliminary Results are fine for my company

Unfortunately, my company does not give a raise upon the completion of an exam. However, I do get a moderate bonus and I don't have to wait for official results to get it. With that being said, I would still much rather have a raise than a bonus.

I was promised $ 2/hr raise if I pass FM @ my internship. I will start before the official results are out. I wonder if they will accept the preliminary results.
