A few days ago there was the toe finger waterboard equivalency thread, that was still on my mind when I watched the PBS thing last night and thought if someone is going to get waterboarded for information Madoff seems like a good suspect.

I might have just deleted the thread for being offensive, but by the time it got to political and I could do anything, there were a lot of replies.
Well I guess I should count my blessing, but is the word "waterboarded" now considered a sware? I guess I don't see what's offensive about the thread title.
If I rob a bank (which you don't even need a weapon to do) I get maybe 100,000, and if later caught like 5 - 15 years in real jail, I see what Madoff did as much worse than robbing a bank, but it seems like he will get off much lighter.
