Default Do you tip on a haircut?

I had never heard of this before until I ran my debit card at a salon and there was a tip line that came up on the receipt. Ever since I was a kid, I'd gone in, saw what the price of a mens haircut was, got my hair cut, paid that price, and left. Do you tip on a haircut?

Yes, 1 or 2 bucks, unless it's the owner of the place.

I don't tip because society says I have to. All right, if someone deserves a tip, if they really put forth an effort, I'll give them something a little something extra. But this tipping automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, they're just doing their job.

I used to tip quite generously, as she is very cute. Then they raised their price by $5, so I lowered my tip by $5.
