For the time being, only a 5.2M hit on the cap is pretty damn good... I haven't looked at the numbers, but they're probably going to have a tough time keeping all of their young guns.

Still waiting for the Habs to sign someone (besides Kovalev, of course

They are talking about Gionta and Antropov. Kovalev is not signed btw. Heard LA is now in the mix.

He wasn't really fond of Holland's use of term to reduce hit. How many 42 year old forwards played last year? I'm guessing the last couple of years pay next to nothing. Contrast Hossa, Zetterberg and Franzen's contracts to those of Vinny, Cindy and AO.
