Didn't see a thread on this here. Tiger -5 through 16 today. Putting for birdie on 17.

I don't know if I buy that. This isn't Tiger circa 2000. This is a guy on a repaired knee who doesn't run away from fields very often anymore. With a nice little leaderboard right behind him (Vijay, Paddy, Toms all PGA champs, Mahan, Westwood, Ogilvy, Glover, Donald, Sergio all talented enough to win one), I expect to see some exciting golf Saturday and Sunday.

he doesn't run away with tournaments anymore because he knows he doesn't need to.

tiger won the 2007 PGA by 2 shots - but it wasn't really that close.
