I would probably just memorize some stock successes and sporting outcomes unless I can bring a notebook, in which case I would just record a lot of that stuff and take advantage of it. That is the textbook answer I know, but the fun happens after that.

If your older self ever shows up at your door claiming to have come from the future to warn you about mistakes that you are going to make, I think a fun thing to do would be to make plans to have your hand amputated, which would cause your future self's hand to disappear and he'll be freaked out because he'll think that the time travel aspects in Back to the Future are accurate.
