It seems the investigation overlooked that the two were, in fact, immortals . . .
Anyway, it doesn't take "skill" to use a large sharp object and kill someone else with a few swings. It takes skill to disable someone w/o risking a fatal injury, but not to kill. I'm not sure why the "not a ninja" comment was warranted apart from ignorance of the use of such (archaic) equipment. Also, this seems to indicate that gun control laws might just be a moot point.

One of the guys in my dorm was a black belt in kendo. Had done it for eight years. My freshmen year I did training with him. He was pretty ninja level. The kid in question was probably more at my level after a year of that stuff.
