"Pretty dull so far. Three ordinary nominations plus one for Tom Bakos. Bakos asked why only 3 openings, pres said the bylaws have been amended and aren't open for discussion at this time. Now it's 2 minutes per candidate on why them."

why no discussion? They should be pushed on that point to provide reasoning behind how it doesn't take away any rights of the membership.

They had previously said that the only business in this meeting would be director nominations/elections.

Were is the fun if there aren't actuaries rioting in the streets of Boston? They could all throw their mortality tables into the harbor.

Discussion of the Bylaws was ruled out of order, as previously reported. The "official" director candidates were all elected. Tom Bakos got 667 votes, however, roughly one-third from proxies and the rest from people in the room. Steve Lehmann had enough proxies to win right from the start, so the result was a foregone conclusion.

I can't believe so many people sent in requests to be disenfranchised.
