Default CIT - BK / Treasury loses $2.3B

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/cit...1?siteid=yhoof

Last line in article:
"CIT's bankruptcy will likely mean that the Treasury Department loses the $2.3 billion it invested in the company -- the biggest loss from TARP so far."

Perhaps better use of the money was to give $230 million to the top 10 cancer research facilities.

Don't be ridiculous. This country needs insolvent organizations with incompetent owners to keep providing the liquidity to the "market".
