Yeah. The Lakers, Spurs, Kings and Wolves. I'll (completely) believe in the Mavs when they actually make it to the NBA Championship.

I'm pretty sure if i could outspend every team by 75% i could pull together enough stars to beat them.

Absolutely terrible trade for the Celtics. I can't believe we gave up Walker AND Delk for Lafrentz!!! I'd have expected one of their big 3 (Nash/Finley/Dirk), not a worthless, white big man who can't play defense.

We'll see how happy Dallas fans are about this trade when they are down by 1 with a minute to go and 'Toine brings the ball up the court and misses a three with 15 seconds on the shot clock. Or maybe when Nowitzki gets hurt from too many minutes playing center. Or when too many egos are bruised by lack of playing time and tempers flare.

I imagine they will be quite happy as they will probably score 200 points after delivering the foul.

They will have five starters who can do the following:

Shoot 3's
Shoot mid range jumpers
Drive
Run

They can run a fast break with even numbers.

You say they can't pass but I find that to be statistically untrue.

Good luck stopping this team.

The Mavs haven't beaten anyone yet this season. Seems a bit early to be giving out champeenships.

I can't believe the rich got richer again (I'm referring to the Western conference).

That said, I don't particularly believe in the Mavericks anymore than anyone else in the West. Between the Mavs and the other big four (LA, SA, Sac, Min, in no particular order), the Nets are going to become the Buffalo Bills of the 21st-century NBA.
