Default Actors for a Justice league movie
I was recently reminded of a discussion I had with a friend of mine years ago. We were big fans of lots of comics, and we were discussing the best actors to portray various Super Heroes were there to be movies about them, keeping with their looks in the comics. I remember some of the names we came up with, but I'd be interested to hear yours. We'd started with just the original Justice League. We had some interesting names come up, but only fully decided on a couple - Mel Gibson as Aquaman, and Laurence Fishburne as Martian Manhunter.
Now, I can see Mark Valley as Hal Jordan also. What do you think for others?

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
Flash
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Aquaman -
Martian Manhunter

Joss Wheedon has said he wanted to cast Cobie Smulders as Wonder Woman. (Robin from How I Met Your Mother)

Good choice for looks and probably for acting too.

I'd try my best to get the current Superman, Batman, and GL. For the rest, I'd cast unknowns.

Batman - Zachary Quinto (I think he has the acting ability to be an embodiment of fear, and martial arts can be learned)
Superman - I liked Brandon Routh as Supes, keep him.
Wonder Woman - I like the Colbie Smulders idea a lot.
Flash - Jason Bateman
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) - Josh Duhamel
Aquaman - Bradley Cooper (or don't use Aquaman)
Martian Manhunter - I don't know much about this character outside of looks.

You mean have them play themselves? Wouldn't it take some of their superhero credibility away if they took time out from fighting crime to film scenes for the movie?

The idea was for the character to look as close to the comic version as possible.

I like the Cobie Smulders idea for WW.
Zachary Quinto isn't bad for Batman, but I do like Christian Bale already.
I don't think The Rock would be a good Superman. His look is completely different.
