Do you really believe that?

Separation of powers is a leading principle of our Constitution. So I believe it is more important, and I hope the President believes the same way.

He sure didn't mind Congress authorizing him to declare war.
You'd think such a firm believer in the separation of powers would've said no.

Good work analyzing the Constitution. Griffin points out the Constitutional separation between the executive branch and congress, and then you point out that Bush didn't mind having Congress authorize war. Last I checked, the Constitution puts the power to declare war in the hands of the Congress, and then the President acts as Commander-in-Chief in determining the best way to handle said war.
Admittedly, this line has been blurred with the undeclared actions that have taken place under numerous Presidencies, but that doesn't change the fact that your comparison is moronic.

Actually, Congress gave Bush the power to declare war.
And you sir, are still ugly.
