Default Cover letter oops

So I applied to about 5 positions yesterday, either online apps, or by sending my resume. The last time I saved my generic cover letter, I ended with something like, "I have included my resume, and unofficial transcripts."

Only I didn't remember saving this since nine times out of ten they don't ask for transcripts.

How big of a deal is this? Should I try and go back and send my transcripts, or just hope they don't care since they didn't ask for them in the first place?

No big deal at all. We will assume our computer program clipped the transcript file.

Awesome. If any hiring managers see my application Monday morning, I assure you ^that is what happened.

I was so focused on making sure I didn't send company X the "I would love to work at Company Y" cover letter I just missed the last sentence haha.

Typographical error?

I didn't copy and paste it from my cover letter.

Can you please tell me why:
  • The first letter of your question is not capitalized?
  • The question mark is outside of the quotation marks?

The question mark should be outside of the quotation marks because the question isn't contained within the quote.

That's nothing. I remember sending out a resume blitz and not changing the company name in one of the cover letters! That's a much bigger deal. Needless to say they didn't follow up with me.
