The first webinar is on Bailey & Simon, which is also the first paper on the suggested order of reading that comes with the Mahler notes. I hope they will continue to follow the suggested order, or at least post a schedule. There wasn't much notice on this first webinar.

$585 for the webinar? I'll pass.

Their stuff is overpriced, I believe even the notes by themselves are $500.

What do you mean their stuff is overpriced? The cost of all the notes and seminar is $10 more than the registration fee for the exam itself.

I am glad I went with NEAS for this exam. This is the most incomprehensible syllabus I have ever seen.

Why compare to the exam fee? The more interesting and valid comparison is to other manuals.

From what I have seen, TIA is the only other company offering a true study manual with their seminar. Their online seminar + manual is $975.

This syllabus isn't too bad. You should take a look at 8 if you haven't experienced it yet. Hopefully, Feldblum's notes are cleaned up a bit and not just reprints of yesteryear's stuff [which mentioned papers from Butsic, Finger, and D'Arcy that haven't been on the syllabus in 3 years].

I haven't checked the notes, but my $$ is on nothing removed. Any updates usually are just tacked onto the end of the notes. At least that was my experience on a prior exam/notes.

Briefly checked out the webinar today. It'd be nice if Feldblum used a real mike instead of the speakerphone... even with headphones he's hard to understand.

Yeah, that's the only one I haven't sat for already.

That stuff used to bother me but I learned to filter it out over the years (along with the unapologetic racial stereotypes, cultural generalizations and personal factpinions).

Yeah, I had to mess with the audio settings on my laptop's internal speakers to even be able to hear him.
