Default Student Programs and Exam C in August

How is your student program (those of you in them) dealing with exam C being offered in August? If you took it in May and failed do you have to take it again in August? Do you get your usual number of study days?

It seems like it would be difficult to take that many study days between early July (when you find out your previous result) and mid-August (the next sitting for C).
