Default Cancel the Test?

I am scheduled to take this exam tomorrow at noon. I believe there is a small chance I will pass, but it is very unlikely. Can I cancel at this point so it doesn't show up as a failed exam? I am past the deadline for any kind of a refund, but I'd like to cancel and take it in the next go-around so I can avoid having the almost inevitable fail on my record. Does anyone know if this is possible or is it too late and at this point if I don't take it and pass it it will be a failed exam for me?

I'm pretty sure that failed attempts won't show up on your transcript, so you might as well go for it to at least get a feel for the exam.

I thought all attempts were kept by the SOA and could be obtained by potential employers. I guess not.

I just didn't show up for an exam last year and it didn't show. As for your transcript, I beleive you can just print off your passing attempts, not the others.

Having a fail on your transcript here is not like having an F on a report card. Go take the exam and do the best you can, the refund isn't exactly worth it. You may even surprise yourself and pass!
