Anyone every entertained any thoughts about doing something like joining the FBI, CIA or law enforcement? I’ve been thinking about leaving this actuarial stuff for about two years now for something a little more exciting that may seem to make a different kind of difference. My wife and I even went on a ride-along with a local police officer. Not that I think it is good to change your career on a whim; but I’m just interested in hearing other peoples thoughts, however, noncommittal. (Hey, Kimi, how about you?)

I've toyed with the idea after watching X-files. But nothing serious. It does seem to have a mental research aspect as well as a physical aspect. This combination occurring in one job does seem somewhat unique.
