Thanks guys, I appreciate the advice. In searching I've found other forums with similar topics but they are all from a year or two ago and with cell phones things change so quickly that I'm not sure if they are still accurate.

I don't recall if it works the other way though, if you're on the cell at home and leave if it'll hand off to the network.
Yeah, on AT&T's specification for the microcell it states:

Calls transfer out, but do not transfer in. Calls transfer from the AT&T 3G MicroCell to the strongest available AT&T tower signal. Calls connected on the cell tower do not transfer to the 3G MicroCell.
I read a review of one of these when it came out and the reviewer could not understand why the cell companies would not encourage people to get these without additional cost. Since it plugs into your internet connection it frees up their network towers for more traffic. You would think that would be a good thing for them.

When did CM7 become version 2.3.5? Just noticed that.

For the Evo, it was nightly #149 which came out early morning of the 2nd. It introduces some bug fixes and NFC tweaks. Basically a non-user-facing update.

My samsung transform will not connect to my computer - either laptop or desktop. When I plug it in it charges just fine, but it never asks me if I want to mount the SD card.

I called Sprint and they are sending me a new phone.

But... then I tried to connect my father-in-law's LG something or other, and it's doing the same thing (laptop and desktop). It brings up a "found new hardware" window, but that doesn't help at all.

Any ideas?

Turn on USB debugging and see if the computer recognizes it when it's plugged in.

I assume you've installed the drivers for the devices as well.

I'll try that... No change with USB debugging. The problem persists.

I've tried to - not sure if I did it right though...
