So as a "we are sorry for the delay" gift, Sprint sent me a Body Glove hard plastic case. I don't normally use cases, but I put this one on. It doesn't add any weight really and has a kickstand, so nothing is lost. I'll roll with it for a couple of days and see what I think. I like that it isn't rubber so it slides in and out of pockets nicely.

Maybe you should ask Apple to block shipments on phones more often...

Please tell me the red font omission was a mistake, lest you get murdered in your sleep.

Also, just tested out the "battery pull" reset. Holding power for about 8 seconds fully reboots the phone. About the same as my sealed battery 7" Galaxy Tab.

Battery life is pretty solid. Went 24 hours yesterday with a charge. About 47% ~ 11 hours with use today.

About what I am seeing. Can't wait to see how it does with all the Sense boat gone.

Boy, I can't wait to get rid of Sense. Just some of the basic stupidity baked in. Allow shortcuts on the lock screen (cool), you just can't select which shortcuts are allowed on the lock screen (boo).

I use gmail - I don't need to also use the default mail app as well.

Also, yesterday I caught some pretty major battery drain early on. Process Monitor Widget verified that some cryptically named Sense process was running away.

Oh thank god. No more GPS icon in the notification bar and a tab with quick settings on it for the Evo LTE.

XDA has a CM9 WIP thread going already by Kushdeck. Booting so far, but not much more. Apparently AOKP is forking it and getting to work as well. Sense cannot be gone soon enough for me.

They've been working on it for my Bionic for a long time, but Ive been waiting for summer to try it. And now I can't try it because my ISB is fried, and I'll need it if I screw up. Now I have to try to get the phone replaced.
