Default Facebook - take a moment

For the full story:

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Wellnes...ry?id=10212041

Deliece is a friend of mine from high school.

http://www.facebook.com/GladtoGive#!/GladtoGive

If you are on FB, please click on the link and "Like" the page. The goal is 100,000 fans for $100,000. Pretty simply thing to do to help out. They are almost to their goal, but only have a couple of days left.

THANKS!

I didn't see anything about it in the abcnews story, so how does 100k fans ==> $100k?

No, the story is older than the FB page.

I don't know how it works. I'm assuming some arrangement with advertising income. But it seems like a simple enough thing to do. Just "like" the page.

Looks like the money gets raised when people buy specially marked Glad products.

$1/fb fan sounds like BS to me, sorry. The only thing I see ending in a few days is some recipe contest.

This is from further down their FB page: "Glad is donating $5 to Cookies for Kids' Cancer for every fan that "likes" our page between now and June 30 (up to $100,000)."

Last post says they are up to 70K or so.

Whatever ... seems like a small thing to do. I figured the AO could throw a few "likes" their way.

If it's $5 per fan, up to $100,000, then they only need 20K fans, correct?

Well, it said "between now and June 30" and that was on 6/22

So it looks like they are trying to drum up 20k more than they had on 6/22.
