ALL OF IT!!! Just jokes. I would make sure you are really good at the Bayesian stuff (short cuts don't always work), know when to use what type of Buhlmann. They haven't focused on Loss models as much but still know it. I could keep going, but these are the topics I used to struggle with.

Im good on the Bayesian and Buhlmann stuff. What im really worried about is coverage modifications.

Mr Mahler expects 26% of our problems to be on Fitting Loss Models, what does this mean? Empirical,MLE, Coverage mods? Does anyone know?

VEEs for me. Both regression and time series. I did the first two modules of each the other day and am in no way motivated to study for another month for that.

I don't remember that much on the exam. It seems these days they ask very few questions on loss model stuff.

Don't take my word for it. I am just thinking back.

How to explain actuarial exams to someone else...

Good Einstein quote - "One had to cram all this stuff into one's mind for the examinations, whether one liked it or not. This coercion had such a deterring effect on me that, after I had passed the final examination, I found the consideration of any scientific problems distasteful to me for an entire year."
