Default Actuarial Magazines

I was wondering what type of actuarial magazines I could find online for free? I really don't care what level they are at (entry level, seasoned professional).

Also, if you have any podcasts that deal with actuarial issues, then you could share those as well.

I know of the following magazines:

Contingencies Magazine

The Actuary Magazine

Those are published by the SOA and AAA, so the CAS and international organizations might have magazines as well. Within the SOA, many of the sections post their newsletter online. The only free presentations that I'm aware of are on the ERM Symposium website.

Subscribe to A.M. Best podcasts. Sometimes they're boring (detailed risks by line of business if you're running a candy factory- more detail than I need for my work), sometimes they're interviews with people who seem more interested in selling their service/product/company than imparting information, but I'd say 70% of it is very useful and you can fast-forward through the rest.

I like the BBC Business Daily and Documentaries podcasts for the general state of the world and the economy.

Of all the publications I find The Financial Reporter to be the best and most useful.

CAS Publications:

Future Fellows Student oriented

The Actuarial Review While much might be over the head of entry level, there's much in there that's understandable by all. A very well written publication, IMO.

This is great, of course. (Full disclosure - I am on the editorial board and sometimes review papers and/or proofread.) I would recommend checking out all the section newsletters. Link
