Default Emmy Awards 2010

Normally I don't care too much about these nom's and eventual winners, but I thought it was interesting that Conan got nominated while Jay didn't.

Other fun facts: The song "Down Syndrome Girl" from Family Guy was nominated for original music.

Agreed.
TBS is apparently thrilled with this.

I know how Conan likes to help high school seniors prepare for the SAT exams, so:

Conan is to funny
as Jay is to assclown.

I watched about ten minutes of it, but I'm very glad that the Temple Grandin movie won so many awards. I started watching out of simple curiosity, but it's one of the most powerful movies I've seen in years.

More on Temple Grandin

Monk is still on? ps. I still have issues listing hr long shows as comedies - they are funny dramas

as for Leno, all the other stuff aside. His Primetime show didn't do very well and he had only done the Late Night show since March. What would he be nominated for?

I think the Emmys recognize anything that was originally shown between July 1st and June 30th. Since the last Monk was shown last fall (I think) and Leno's version of The Tonight Show was during this period, that would explain why both could be considered.
